United Veterinary Services Association
The United Veterinary Services Association, formerly AVDA, was established in 1976 as the national trade organization for businesses engaged in the distribution of animal health products. UVSA’s current membership consists of distributors and suppliers of animal health products and services. UVSA is committed to the success of its members by strengthening the vital link between its members and the animal health industry by providing information, education, advocacy and business tools.
UVSA has worked with KMG staff since 2002.
AFP Maryland exists to foster the growth and development of a culturally diverse population of fundraising professionals, enhance philanthropy by encouraging giving and volunteering, and promote ethics in fundraising and sound non-profit management throughout Maryland. AFP Maryland is a leading advocate on fundraising and philanthropic issues in our community and the professional organization of choice for fundraising professionals.
AFP Maryland has been a KMG client since 2010.
The Pet Industry Distributors Association was organized in 1968 for the purpose of promoting progress within the pet industry and to conduct programs and activities on behalf of pet product wholesaler-distributors. PIDA is the co-host of Global Pet Expo, the world’s largest annual pet products trade show, and manages Pet Store Pro®, an online retail training program free for pet retailers.
PIDA has worked with KMG staff since 1988.
The Pet Care Trust is a non-profit, charitable, public foundation. The foundation’s purpose is to help promote public understanding regarding the value of and right to enjoy companion animals, to enhance knowledge about companion animals through research and education, and to promote professionalism among members of the companion animal community. The Pet Care Trust runs the Pets in the Classroom Program, which gives grant funding to teachers so they can bring a small pet habitat into the classroom. The Pets in the Classroom program has issued over 144,000 grants since 2010, which means over 5.5 million children have experienced the benefits of the human-animal bond by having a pet in the classroom.
The Pet Care Trust has been managed by KMG since 2004.
As an international trade association, SMART strengthens the economic opportunities of its diverse membership by promoting the interdependence of the for-profit textile recycling industry segments and provides a common forum for networking, education and advocacy. SMART members use and convert recycled and secondary materials from used clothing, commercial laundries and nonwoven, off spec material, new mill ends and paper from around the world.
SMART has worked with KMG staff since 2009.
The Petroleum Marketers Association of America (PMAA) is a federation of 46 state and regional trade associations representing approximately 8,000 independent petroleum marketers nationwide, representing wholesaler and retailers of gasoline, diesel, heating oil, lubricants and renewable fuels.
PMAA has been a client of KMG since 2016.
